Your current clients can give you more reach than you ever thought possible without having to do all the busy work of promoting yourself and your services consistently.
In the online business world referrals are everything.
It should be your goal to service your clients to the best of your ability so they will recommend you to other clients. And why I love this so much is that those clients they are referring you to are most likely just like them and your dream client avatar.
It can be easy to get caught up in gaining new clients vs. nurturing and serving those clients who trusted you from the get-go.
The floodgates will open when you serve your loyal clients above and beyond.
OK that sounds great but how do you initiate a referral with a current client when you need one?
Just ask! Let them know you have a client spot you are looking to fill.
Most of the time, if you are doing a stellar job, they are more than happy to spread the word on how well their business is doing with your help.
Creating a good referral community is essential to building a solid foundation for your business.
They may also be able to reap the benefits of giving you a referral!
Anytime a client, friend or colleague refers me to someone that becomes a client I always send them a personalized gift. You can also create an official referral program where you give a monetary amount to anyone that refers business your way, however I think a personal gift is more fun and unexpected.
