In 2017, after more than a decade in corporate advertising, I quit my job to raise my two young sons. It was absolutely the right choice, but I actually wanted to work. I just didn’t know how to be present for my sons and work at the same time. Turns out a really great “how” is virtual assistance, so I plunged in head first and learned as I went.
Eventually one client turned into two, then a handful. Before I knew it I’d grown into a full-service boutique marketing agency with a team of five talented women and more than 40 retainer clients under our belt to date. I even put together a plan to have my business run WITHOUT ME while I took three months off for baby number three. If that’s not putting my obsessiveness for planning, structure, and detail to good use, I don’t know what is. And you bet I apply that same level of hustle to all the clients we serve!
